Rather, the likely cause of enlarged breasts is false hope.

Hormones trick your body into thinking it’s already pregnant so that you are kept from becoming pregnant after intercourse. When the body is pregnant, or thinks it is or is about to be, one of the first things it does is grow more breast tissue, glands and ductwork to prepare for lactation. If it turns out that the body is not pregnant, all this disappears and the breasts shrink to pre-pregnancy size. With birth control pills, the body always thinks it’s pregnant so enlarged breasts do not decrease in size. They will decrease in size if you stop taking birth control pills. The same effects can occur with estrogen supplements used to treat issues related to menopause.

Whether you choose an herbal breast enlargement pill or a synthetic one, chances are the results will be subtle. You may experience enlargement of up to two cup sizes, but chances are this growth will occur over several years. More likely, you will experience subtle growth that makes your breasts fuller within the same general size range.
